First NacISD Glad To Be Here Awarded to BQJ’s Marion Ringhausen

Brooks-Quinn-Jones PIEMS Clerk, Marion Ringhausen was the first recipient of the Glad To Be Here award on October 7, 2015.

NISD Superintendent Fred Hayes presented this award to Ringhausen for her excellent work at BQJ and Glad to Be Here attitude.

“I am glad she is here,” said NISD Superintendent Fred Hayes.

Third Grade teachers at Brooks-Quinn-Jones Elementary, Jenna Anderson and Whitney Pearl nominated Ringhausen for this award. In their nominations they explained the reasons for the nominating Ringhausen, such as the she always does her job with excellence and has a “Glad To Be Here” attitude.

The Glad to Be Here Award will be issued the first day of the month from October to May.

Nomination Process: Any Nacogdoches ISD employee can nominate any person. Nominations should be sent to Holly Anderson by the 20th of the month with the Subject: "GTBH Award". Nominations can be sent by email or hand delivered to Mrs. Anderson. The nomination is not to exceed 150 words.

The nomination should include:

  • The employee's name
  • The reason for the nomination and how it matches with our district's "Center Point" as described by Mr. Foley.
  • The action that the employee takes that leads to excellence and continuous improvement.
  • A personal account of the employees work.
